IGLESIA DEL CARMEN
Mi favorita sin ninguna duda tanto por el lugar donde se encuentra que le aporta un encanto especial, como por su fachada típica de Oporto llena de azulejos. ¡Es preciosa!
My favorite without any doubt both for the place where it is found that gives it a special charm, as for its typical Porto facade full of tiles. It’s beautiful!
PUENTE DE LUIS I
No podéis perderos las vistas de este famoso puente tanto de día como de noche. Si tenéis oportunidad de cruzarlo andando a Vilanova de Gaia y volver en tranvía os encantará. Ademas si subís al alto de Vilanova tendréis unas vistas preciosas de la ciudad de Oporto desde el otro lado de la Ribera.
Si os apetece podéis cenar en uno de los restaurantes que se encuentran en la ribera del Duero y así disfrutar de las vistas de noche del puente y las bodegas más famosas de Oporto iluminadas.
You can not miss the views of this famous bridge both day and night. If you have the opportunity to cross it by walking to Vilanova de Gaia and return by tram you will love it. Also if you climb to the top of Vilanova you will have beautiful views of the city of Porto from the other side of the Ribera.
If you feel like it, you can dine in one of the restaurants located on the banks of the Duero and enjoy the night views of the bridge and the most famous wineries in Porto illuminated.
PRUEBA LOS PASTELES DE NATA
¡No puedes irte de Oporto sin probar los pasteles de Nata! Los encontraras en todas las confiterías de la ciudad y de postre en los restaurantes.
You can’t leave Porto without trying Nata cakes! You will find them in all the confectioneries of the city and for dessert in the restaurants.
ESTACIÓN SAO BENTO
Estación de trenes en pleno centro de Oporto. Una visita imprescindible. Esta llena de imágenes de la historia de Portugal plasmada en los azulejos típicos de la ciudad.
Train station in the center of Porto. An essential visit. It is full of images of the history of Portugal embodied in the typical tiles of the city.
CAPILLA DE LAS ALMAS
¿Quién no ha visto esta fachada en los perfiles de Instagram de la gente que viaja a Oporto? Y no me extraña porque es preciosa. Eso sí, tened paciencia si queréis tener una foto aquí.
Who has not seen this facade in the Instagram profiles of people traveling to Porto? And it doesn’t surprise me because it’s beautiful. Just be patient if you want to have a picture here.
ENTRAR EN LAS TIENDAS TÍPICAS COMO LA APEROLA DO BOLHAO
¿Habéis visto alguna vez una fachada de tienda tan original? La Aperola do Bolhao es una tienda de ultramarinos. Cerca de esta tienda esta el mercado do Bolhao, un mercado típico de ciudad que nosotros no pudimos visitar porque se encontraba cerrado por reforma.
Have you ever seen such an original store facade? The Aperola do Bolhao is a grocery store. Near this store is the Bolhao market, a typical city market that we could not visit because it was closed for renovation.
CAFÉ MAJESTIC
Si hay un café famoso en la ciudad, este es el Café Magestic. A parte de tener una fachada muy bonita y especial. Por dentro es muy especial. Se caracteriza por su estilo clásico.
If there is a famous café in the city, this is the Magestic Café. Apart from having a very beautiful and special facade. Inside is very special. It is characterized by its classic style.
IGLESIA DE SAN ILDEFONSO
Esta es otra de las Iglesias más famosas de Oporto que al igual que las anteriores está cubierta de azulejos blancos y azules.
This is another of the most famous churches in Porto that, like the previous ones, is covered with white and blue tiles.
COME UN BOCADILLO EN CASA GUEDES
Esto fue una recomendación de una seguidora de Instagram. Lamentablemente no nos dio tiempo a disfrutar de estos famosos bocadillos de pernil con queso que cuestan 4€.

LA CASA ORIENTAL
Una tienda muy curiosa en la que venden latas de conservas. Algo muy típico en Portugal. Pero lo más famoso de esta original tienda es que podrás encontrar latas con todos los años.
A very curious store where they sell cans of canned food. Something very typical in Portugal. But the most famous thing about this original store is that you can find cans every year.
LIBRERIA LELLO
En Oporto podrás encontrar una de las librerías más bonitas del mundo. Pero por lo que verdaderamente adquirió fama esta librería es porque J.K Rowling, la autora de Harry Potter se inspiró en ella para describir alguno de los emplazamientos que aparecen en sus libros. Normalmente hay mucha cola para entrar pero os recomiendo que lo hagáis bien a la hora de comer o a ultima hora de la tarde casi cuando vayan a cerrar. La entrada cuesta 5€ que os descontarán si compréis algún libro.
In Porto you can find one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, but for what this bookstore really acquired fame is because J.K Rowling, the author of Harry Potter was inspired by it to describe some of the locations that appear in her books. Normally there is a lot of queue to enter but I recommend you do it well at lunchtime or late in the afternoon almost when they will close. The ticket costs 5€ which will be discounted if you buy a book.
TORRE DE LOS CLÉRIGOS
Se trata de una torre de gran altura que podrás visitar y subir sus escaleras para tener una de las mejores vistas de la ciudad de Oporto. La entrada cuesta 5€.
It is a high-rise tower that you can visit and climb its stairs to have one of the best views of the city of Porto. Admission is 5€.
PRUEBA EL PLATO MÁS TÍPICO DE OPORTO
La francesinha es por excelencia el plato de Oporto. Consiste en un sandwich de pan relleno de embutidos, queso con un huevo por encima y cubierto de una salsa hecha con cerveza. El restaurante con más fama para comerla es el Café Santiago.
The francesinha is par excellence the Porto dish. It consists of a sandwich of bread stuffed with sausages, cheese with an egg on top and covered with a sauce made with beer. The restaurant with the most fame to eat it is Café Santiago.

PARROQUIA DE SANTA MARINHA DE CORTEAÇA
A quince minutos de Oporto se encuentra la población de Corceaça que tiene una de las iglesias más bonitas de la zona. El pueblo no tiene mucho más pero si tenéis tiempo merece la pena visitar esta iglesia.
Fifteen minutes from Porto is the town of Corceaça that has one of the most beautiful churches in the area. The town does not have much more but if you have time it is worth visiting this church.
AVENIDA DE LOS ALIADOS
Pasear por esta Avenida es algo que no puedes dejar de hacer en tu visita a Oporto. En ella podrás encontrar el McDonal’s más bonito que he visto nunca, las letras de la ciudad de Oporto y el Ayuntamiento.
Strolling along this Avenue is something you can not miss on your visit to Porto. In it you can find the most beautiful McDonal’s I’ve ever seen, the lyrics of the city of Porto and the City Hall.
SÉ DE OPORTO
La catedral de Oporto se encuentra en una plaza con unas vistas magníficas a la ciudad y al rio Duero.
Porto Cathedral is located in a square with magnificent views of the city and the Duero River.
PRESUPUESTO
Aquí os dejo el presupuesto del viaje desde el viernes por la mañana al domingo por la tarde.
- Transporte : 20€ Peajes + 100€ de gasoil para el coche.
- Alojamiento: 160€ (Link al apartamento y descuento de hasta 30 euros en tu primera reserva de AirBnB)
- Comidas: – Restaurantes y comida a domicilio: 165€ – Fruta y otros para Julia en el supermercado: 10€ Total: 170€
- Otros: 30€
Total: 485€ entre dos adultos y un bebé.
La comida al final subió bastante el presupuesto por la cena en la ribera que fue bastante más cara de lo normal pero como os conté en el primer post pagas las vistas 🙂 por lo que si optais por cenar o comer en sitios más económicos como Casa Guedes o el Café Santiago, el precio total de las comidas se reducirá considerablemente.

Here you have the budget of the trip from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon.

The food in the end raised the budget for dinner on the shore that was much more expensive than normal but as I told you in the first post you pay for the views 🙂 so if you choose to have dinner or eat in cheaper places like Casa Guedes or Café Santiago, the total price of meals will be reduced considerably.
